Energy & Daily Habits
Small, repeatable choices that can help you feel more energized and supported throughout your day.
A Personal Note
Small Habits Create Lasting Change
My energy does not come from one perfect routine. It comes from the small choices I make each day to care for my spirit, mind, and body.
Before my feet even hit the floor in the morning, I begin with my devotional and prayer time. Those quiet moments help me feel grounded and emotionally prepared for the day ahead.
I also know that my body needs nourishment and movement. Without breakfast, I feel less focused. Without movement, my mind does not feel quite right. That is why I enjoy completing my workout first thing in the morning. Some days, that means taking a Peloton ride. Other days, it means getting outdoors and walking with both of my grandsons. I genuinely need that fresh air and time outside.
On busy or low-energy days, I remind myself that something is always better than nothing. I may do 10 minutes of calisthenics at home or take a shorter walk. It does not have to be a long or perfect workout—it simply needs to be some form of movement.
Drinking plenty of water is another nonnegotiable part of my day. I genuinely love water, and drinking it throughout the day helps me stay refreshed and hydrated.
Begin with one small habit.
You do not need to completely change your life in one day. Begin by choosing one small habit and practicing it consistently. Every time you follow through, you are showing up for yourself.
The changes you want to see within yourself begin with the choices you make each day. Small habits, repeated consistently, can create a healthier, more energized you.
Start small. Stay consistent. Keep showing up for yourself.
